The Great Hogan Family
Way back in the early 1970's when my wife and I first met, we had contact with a lovely Anglican Nun, sister Audrey Mary who was involved in the Charismatic renewal of that time. At a prayer meeting she prayed and prophesied over us saying. "You Martin shall have your quiver full and you Lorna are an abundance of Motherhood. We didn't think too much about it at the time, but as we look back over five decades of marriage we see that it was a word from the Lord. We have five of the best children in the world. Four wonderful daughters in Law, and the best of a son in law. These have produced eleven grandchildren to be proud of, and the beginning of a tribe or dynasty.
When the first of our offspring got married in the year 2000, his father-in-law coined the phrase 'The Great Hogan Family' which we feel was again prophetic.
Our family has been a great blessing to us, especially during our retirement years, and we pray we are and always will be a blessing to them.
We are a close knit family, and it is a joy to us all to watch the young cousins get on so well together, even though they live all over the country.
